Getting to Brooks, Grosvenor, and Kulik Lodge

Brooks, Grosvenor, and Kulik Lodge are located within Katmai National Park, a remote area of Alaska. All guests will need to access these areas aboard a float-equipped seaplane or aboard one of our Pilatus PC-12 aircraft out of Anchorage. Our Katmai Air flight service provides all the air transportation needed to travel to Brooks, Grosvenor and Kulik, either from our offices in Anchorage or through our office in King Salmon. We are dedicated to ensuring that you experience Alaska’s best by accessing the wilderness in a safe and comfortable manner.

For those camping at Brooks Camp, or planning a day excursion from Anchorage, Katmai Air offers air transportation to Brooks Lodge from Anchorage or King Salmon on a daily basis throughout the summer season as well.

For information, visit the Katmai Air website for further details.

Getting to Mission Lodge

Reaching Mission Lodge is pretty straightforward. Fly from your nearest airport to Anchorage. Then fly from Anchorage to Dillingham (approximately one hour). In Dillingham, our staff will greet you, then transport you and your luggage to Lake Aleknagik in private shuttle vans. Transfer to boat and enjoy a scenic and rather quick ride across the lake to the lodge. The staff will whisk your gear to your room while you shake hands with the hosts, then you may pick up your fishing license and sample the yummy appetizers.

Because of flight schedules for various points in the lower 48, it may be necessary to overnight in Anchorage either on the way in, the way out, or both.
